Woodpecker Press helps prospective authors self-publish their books. From initial idea or concept through printed book, the company will provide step-by-step guidance throughout the process. Owners Donna R. Thompson and Brenda Hendrickson started the company to assist individuals who want to write a book and have it published.
With Thompson’s 35-year career in publishing and Hendrickson’s recent experience of publishing her own book, How to Be a Frugal Millionaire, the two decided to team up to make the process easier and better for prospective authors.
Our goal is to give the author control over the process, register the author as the copyright holder, and allow the author to own the final production copy of the book. We offer personalized publishing and ancillary services, and do not expect any part of the author’s revenue from the sale of the book.
Having authored a book can give a business manager or owner remarkable credibility. Others will gain a real sense of satisfaction in achieving their life’s goal of writing a book. Whatever the reason, self-publishing a book is quite an accomplishment, and Woodpecker Press can assist its authors with whatever they need to get the job done.
